About our apartment
We are in the centre of the station, just below the main street. Our apartment is in a small building and “is in the roof”. It takes us just 7 mins to walk to the high speed gondola and 1 Minute to get to the Butchers, the bakery ,the supermarket and the swimming pool.
The apartment is well equipped with cable TV, DVD player and a real fire, perfect for those family nights in. There are 2 sunny balconys each with great views ,1 at the back,with mountain views, which is bathed in sun from 9.30 am until 12 and one at the front, with one of the best views in Switzerland, which has the sun from 1pm until it sets. It is unusual for an apartment to have mountain views from both balconys.
7 mins walk from our apartment the high speed gondola gives you access to the 4 Vallées region, which offers 412 km of ski slopes and 92 different lifts (skilifts, chairlifts, gondolas and cablecars together).
The highest point in the region is the Mont-Fort at 3330m. From its peak , one can enjoy an incredible view of the Matterhorn, the Grand Combin and the Mont-Blanc which at 4807m is the highest peak in Europe.
You can come back year after year and still ski somewhere new. Veysonnaz is perfect for learning, with a ski school for people of all abilities available and it is great for children, as my 2 will testify.

In summer activities are many and varied: mountain biking, fantastic guided walking tours to glaciers, exploring, paragliding, grass scooters, climbing, health treatments, wine tasting and racquet sports. Sion, just 13 kms away, boasts a well-manicured 18 hole-golf course and the European Masters is played at Crans-sur-Sierre,which is only 40mins drive away. Local speciality events include cellar visits, bread making in the village oven and cheese making in an alpine farm, all of which reveal some of the culture, gastronomy and traditions of Veysonnaz.

Living Rooms: Living and dining area around wood burning fireplace, DVD player, cable TV and a door to the balcony and that magnificent view. We have a table and chairs on both balconys so you can make the most of the outside space.There is a ski room, washing machine and dryer in the basement
